We are proud to be a New Zealand company, run by Kiwis for Kiwis. Z service stations are owned by Z Energy Limited and are operated by an independent local business person called a Retailer - who employ their own staff for the more than 200 Z service stations right around New Zealand.  That adds up to a lot of employment opportunities!

Our ambition is to deliver the best service out there, and our Retailers are often on the lookout for new team members who believe in providing extraordinary customer service.  From the forecourt, to food and coffee, to our store and even our hotel style bathrooms - Z team members focus on getting our customers in and out quickly, while making sure they leave with a smile.

These are “typical” job descriptions for the different Z team member positions, but local Retailers are independent and so use their own hiring processes, make their own decisions, and they may even use their own job descriptions and/or application forms.
