Terms and Conditions:

Z Energy Limited (Z, we, us) is increasing the Z Business Plus discount from 8 cents per litre to 12 cents per litre for three months after the date of account opening (“Discount Period”) for new Z Business Plus customers who make an  application to open a Z Business Plus or a verified Associated “Z Business Partner for {authorized partner} account” as determined by us  between 12.01am Monday 17 July until 11.59pm Sunday 3 September 2023 (“The promotional period”), have that application accepted by us, and keep the account for at least three months after the promotional period (“participants”). This is the ”promotion”. The discount will be applied within 5 working days of the participant’s account being opened and is only available at Z, Caltex and Challenge service stations and truck stops for the Discount Period.  

1. Who administers this promotion? The promotion is administered by Z Energy Ltd of 3 Queens Wharf, Wellington, New Zealand. 
   
2. What is included in the promotion? The increased discount will apply for all fuel grades purchased using the participant’s Z Business fuel card from Z, Caltex or Challenge service stations and truck stops during the Discount Period.  It does not apply to LPG purchases. 
   
3. Redeeming the discount: To redeem the discount, participants need to:  
   a) Apply for a new Z Business Plus or a verified Associated “Z Business Partner for {authorized partner} account” as determined by us within the promotional period and have that application accepted by us, and keep the account for at least three months after the end of the promotional period; and 
   b) Fuel up with any fuel grade (excluding LPG) using their Z Business Fuel Card at any Z, Caltex or Challenge service station or truck stop during the Discount Period.  
   
4. At the end of the Discount Period, the discount will revert back to 8 cents per litre.  
   
5. Other offers: Unless we agree otherwise, the 12 cent per litre fuel discount is not able to be used in conjunction with any other offers (for example, further fuel cpl discount offers).

7. Where participants provide us personal information as part of this promotion, we will handle it in accordance with our privacy policy found here. Please read the policy carefully. 
   
8. Non-conditions ore may refuse to let a participant participate in the promotion and/or refuse to provide a participant with a discount where, in our view, the participant has acted fraudulently or not complied with these terms and conditions or Z Business terms and conditions, or has acted in any way that we reasonably consider has (or is likely to) cause harm to us, our related companies, or other business partners. 
9. A participant will not be eligible for the promotion if they open an account and then cancel it either during or three months after the promotional period. 
10. Where you provide Incorrect information: We accept no responsibility for disputes arising as a result of applications submitted by participants using an email address or phone number belonging to any other person or any other incorrect information. 
    
11. Z Group eligibility Employees and agents of Z Energy and its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate families, and employees of Z Energy, Caltex or Challenge service stations and truck stops, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate families” means the husband, wife, spouse, parent, siblings, and children (including stepparents, siblings and children). 
    
12. Changes and cancellation: We may terminate, modify or suspend the terms of this promotion, or the promotion as a whole, for any reason at any time. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of material changes or cancellation before the change or cancellation takes effect, by posting notice on our website or contacting you directly, but we are not under an obligation to communicate this.  
    
13. Our liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of this promotion. 
    
14. Other terms: Our decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
    
15. These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
