Z Energy offers a wide range of aviation services with both international and domestic refuelling facilities around New Zealand.
The Z Energy pedigree is Shell with its 100-year history in New Zealand. The key people, knowledge, processes and experience developed have all been carefully transferred to the new company. That means the strength of Shell’s century of history in New Zealand remains, with an added dimension of a Kiwi can-do attitude.
Z Energy retains a Technical Services Agreement with Shell Aviation that gives the company access to technical advice, services and assistance in connection with its aviation business, as well as on-going training and skills development for key personnel.
Jet A1 is supplied from the Z Energy part-owned New Zealand Refining Company (exclusively into Auckland Airport) or imported directly into New Zealand for use at Christchurch. Z Energy supplies around one third of New Zealand’s 1.3 billion litre Jet A1 market.
Avgas 100 is imported into New Zealand from Australia.
Z Energy is a major player in the international air market. As you would expect, there is no room for compromise on aviation fuel quality and supply is subject to stringent quality controls. We provide 100 per cent quality fuels (including Jet A1 fuel) and are Civil Aviation Authority supply organisation certified (SUP77065). Our international refuelling operations are located at Auckland and Christchurch international airports.
Z Energy is a key fuel supplier to the New Zealand domestic aviation market, servicing the companies and individuals who fly planes and helicopters for commercial uses or leisure. Over many years we’ve earned a reputation for providing safe, reliable aviation fuel for everyone from weekend enthusiasts to airlines.
