Z Card

Introducing Z Card. If you have business vehicle fleet, Z Card can save your business time and money. Here's how. 

With Z Card, your business has one simple method of buying fuel right around New Zealand. You get to choose what each card can be used to buy at our sites, giving you greater control than a credit card.  You'll also get an accurate picture of your total fuel costs, with multiple cards consolidated into one invoice. Some cards also earn Fly Buys Points on fuel, or qualify for discounts on fuel prices. And because you only pay after you get the invoice, your cash flow is freed up for other purposes.

Control and security

You decide what each driver can and can’t buy with their Z Card and what security controls you want. For example, you can specify only certain types of fuel and services, require compulsory odometer entry and set daily or monthly purchase imits. All Z Cards are issued with a pre-set PIN, or you can select your own.You can also assign cards to specific cost centres to make reconciliation easier. If you want to change those options, no problem – you can do so any time.

One easy invoice

No more hunting for individual receipts or managing multiple expense accounts. Instead you’ll receive easy-to-understand tax invoices by email.

Would you like Fly Buys with that?

Many Z Card accounts also collect Fly Buys Points, or Airpoints Dollars if that's what you prefer. At the end of the month we add up all the fuel purchased through the account's Z Cards, and automatically allocate Fly Buys Points at 1 point for every $50 fuel. You can have one Fly Buys card number loaded up per account.

Z Card is for GST registered businesses that spend at least $150 a month on fuel. 

24/7 account management with Z Card Online

Manage your own cards and access reports when it suits you. We securely store your data in Z Card Online so you can access copies of your previous invoices, or get detailed reports by date, cost centre or card.

Accepted everywhere you go

You can use Z Card at any Shell or Z service station and truck stop, depending on your vehicle. With over 220 service stations and 80+ truckstops, we’ve got the country covered. Both Shell Cards and Z Cards can be used at any Shell or Z location.

Buying group deals

Some organisations have special discount arrangments available to their members. If you belong to the NZ Chamber of Commerce or NZ Contractors' Federation and have your member number, you can apply online now. For any other special arrangements, please ask the organisation for details on how to apply for their Z Card deal.
