Terms and Conditions

“Z Survey Sweepstake” Draw

  1. The “Z Survey Sweepstake” Draw (the “Draw”) begins at 12:01am on Monday 13th of June 2011 and will continue until further notice (the “Survey Period”).
  2. The Draw is offered by Z Limited of 3 Queens Wharf, Wellington, New Zealand (the “Promoter”).
  3. The Draw is open to all Z Customers who make a purchase at a participating Z service station and receive an invitation at a participating location or by an electronic or email-based invitation and complete the online survey at www.tellz.co.nz (the “Survey”). Customers must complete the survey in New Zealand and either be resident in New Zealand or travelling in New Zealand for at least one week after a Draw to win a Prize in that Draw.Customers who enter the draw in this way are also eligible to enter the Draw a second time through GoRecommend. Employees of the Promoter, retailers contracted to the Promoter, employees of Z service stations, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate families” means the husband, wife, spouse, parent, siblings, and children (including step parent, sibling and children). The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of an entrant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the Promotion.
  4. To enter the Draw customers need to make a purchase at a participating Z service station at any time during the Survey Period (“Eligible Purchase”) and be randomly selected as a survey respondent, enter the unique survey entry code at www.tellz.co.nz and complete the survey in its entirety.
  5. To enter the draw a second time by using GoRecommend, the customer must first enter the draw in the manner described in 4 above and then be invited by the Promoter at the end of the Survey to use GoRecommend. Any GoRecommend submission does not have to be posted to the entrant’s Facebook page or Twitter page or sent by email in order for the Customer to be entered into the Draw a second time.
  6. Prize draws will be conducted weekly during the Survey Period and $500 Z Gift Card (the “Prize”) is available in each draw. The first valid entry drawn in each weekly draw will win the Prize. Each weekly draw will take place every Monday for the week before. Winners of the Prize can only win once.
  7. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to notify all Prize winners by phone within seven (7) days of the relevant Prize draw. If a prize winner cannot be contacted by phone within this time frame the Prize will be redrawn.
  8. The Promoter’s decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prizes. The Prizes are not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If for any reason a Prize winner does not redeem the Prize or any element of the Prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Prize or that element of the Prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize or that element of the Prize.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  11. Entrants consent, and waive all rights (including copyright and moral rights), to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  12. The Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw or these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Survey Period and shall not be liable to any entrant or Prize winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result.
  13. Any personal information collected about individuals as part of this Promotion will be collected and used in accordance with the privacy principles set out in the Privacy Act 1993.
  14. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, the Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, this Survey and/or taking the Prize for any cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by any entrant or Prize winner, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. The Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter. Facebook and Twitter are completely released from any liability to any entrant or participant in this Draw. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Draw will not be directed to Facebook or Twitter but to support@gorecommend.ca
  15. Information on how to enter the Survey, about GoRecommend and the Prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Survey is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
