Here you’ll find everything you need to know about what we’re doing to keep New Zealand fuelled up, safely through COVID-19. The situation is constantly changing, so please visit regularly for new updates.
Regardless of which traffic light setting your region is in, we’ll be open for you to re-fuel your vehicle and yourself. Our stores will be open, meaning you can head inside and pick up your morning coffee or lunchtime pie.
Access to bathrooms, LPG, trailer hire and car wash will also all be available at applicable sites at all traffic light settings.
As we are an essential service, you will not need to show any proof of vaccination, however we ask that you remember to wear your mask during any visit to Z and scan in using the COVID Tracer app and QR codes displayed on site.
While our stores will remain open at each setting, if your region is in ‘red’, we'll need to use physical distancing and may limit the number of people in store in order to meet Ministry of Health guidelines. We ask for patience and understanding if you see that happening.
We’re maintaining the regular cleaning protocols for our facilities, both in-store and at the pump.

Fuel up and pay, all at the pump. Before you lift the pump handle, simply insert your card and follow the instructions on screen.
You can use contactless payment (Paywave) at both the night windows and when you Pay at Pump.
Download the Z App to use Sharetank, a tool that finds the cheapest fuel within a 30km distance of your location and allows you to buy up to 1000L and store it in a virtual tank in the app – you just need to have credit card details saved. You can then redeem the fuel at any station, anytime.
