Every two years, pilots from all over the world flock to New Zealand to compete in a race called Air Safari. This year is no different: 32 entrants will spend 10 days flying high around the country, starting in Masterton and ending up in Motueka.
Z supports this event by supplying some merchandise for prizes and putting part of profits from the event’s fuel spend towards Flying NZ’s Young Eagles, a programme that gives kids between 11 and 17 the opportunity to experience how an aircraft works, and look down on the world from inside one.
If you’d like to see some of the Air Safari in action, check Flying NZ's website for information on the timetable and route.
