Something you told us you wanted was better point of sale systems at airfields and as a result we’re upgrading our cardreader technology.
The current cardreaders at our airfields are not exactly best in class. So, soon all airfields will have the same state-of-the-art technology already available at our service stations and truck stops.
We are running a pilot (no pun intended) with the upgraded hardware and software at Ardmore in December. We then plan to roll-out the new technology to all other airfields during January, February and March.

In the short-term, before the roll-out is complete, pilots will need to carry both the new and old cards to ensure they can access fuel from both the old and new cardreaders.
While the cardreaders are being installed, the pumps will be unavailable for several hours. To help you plan around this and to minimise the inconvenience, we’ll provide up-to-date details on where and when the installations will be happening on our website z.co.nz/aviationupgrade. We’ll also request NOTAMs to be issued.
