At Z, we’re committed to making a difference in the communities we operate in because Z is for New Zealand. That’s why every year, every one of our more than 200 Z stations give away $5,000 to neighbourhood groups that help people in our communities. That’s more than $1 million across the country to do Good in the Hood!
Toyota are an example of a supplier doing Good in the Hood. They have continued to be very supportive of our community initiatives over the years. Examples of this have been assisting us with donating a Toyota Corolla for Sweet Louise (a charity that provides support to those with incurable breast cancer) and providing a discounted vehicle for the Otago Disabled Society.
Good in the Hood has been around nationally for five years, so here at Z we reckon it’s time to review the programme to see how we could make it even better. Critical to this review is asking our Good in the Hood groups, our customers and our Z people what they think is good about the programme and what we could be doing better. We’d love to hear from you, our suppliers, too!
Please take a couple of minutes to answer the questions below:
1. What’s the best thing about Good in the Hood?
2. What’s the one thing we could do differently to improve the programme?
3. What other ways could Z partner with suppliers to create better neighbourhood solutions?
When we support the things that matter locally, we can achieve big things for our teams, our neighbourhoods, our people and our business — that’s why we’re excited to hear what you reckon.
