Matching skilled professionals with not for profits

A new digital volunteer service called HelpTank makes it easy for skilled professionals to donate their time and skills to not for profit organisations that can benefit from their expertise.

Z partnered with the Who Did You Help Today Trust to develop HelpTank following research showing that community groups struggle to find and engage the skills they need. Meanwhile individuals with specific skills also report it challenging to find a volunteer role that suits them.

HelpTank provides guidance to support effective matches, such as tips for the organisation and volunteer to promote the best possible work relationship, and templates that not for profits can use to develop their volunteer projects.

Enabling more talented people to donate their time and skills contributes to a New Zealand where caring and shared responsibility for resolving community issues is the norm.

Head to helptank.co.nz to see how you could volunteer your skills to help a community group.
