Our community programme, Good in the Hood, is coming back! This year, we're giving away $700,000 to 10 groups across Aotearoa. Help them receive a share of the money by voting at your nearest Z station in June.
By participating in this campaign, you agree to the below terms. Please read the terms carefully! They form a legally binding contract between you and us, and it is important to us that you understand what this means.
If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any qualifying purchase at a participating Z site will entitle you to one Good in the Hood voting token. This token can then be used to vote for a represented community group to be given a proportional share of $700,000.
Z Business customers are entitled to two voting tokens per transaction, when paying with a Z Business card.
Tokens must be submitted into the voting unit at the site they were received – they cannot be removed from the Z site or be held on to for voting at a later time. All tokens remain the property of Z Energy.
Each site has four community groups to select from and the selection of community groups vary across sites. There are 10 community groups in total that will receive a share of the $700,000. They are:
Once the campaign has ended, all Good in The Hood votes will be tallied. The $700,000 will then be divided and distributed to the community groups based on the overall percentage of votes received.
The sole purchase of tobacco or vaping products is excluded, and you will not be entitled to a Good in the Hood voting token. You will be entitled to a Good in the Hood voting token if you purchase additional goods of any kind alongside tobacco or vaping products.
Good in the Hood tokens and voting are not available at unmanned sites or truck stops.
Good in the Hood voting will run from 6am 1 June – 6am 1 July.
