Using Z App to pay for fuel is quick and secure. It’s a safer way to pay that helps you avoid touching buttons or exchanging cash.

Yes! The Pumped daily discount will be applied to every pay by plate and pay in app transaction (unless you choose to stack and meet the required minimum spend for stacking). For more information, check out our Pumped terms and conditions.
Yes! You can manually set a stacking preference by following the process in the Z App. If you choose to stack, discounts will automatically stack until you manually change your preferences. Discounts will only stack if you meet the minimum spend requirements for stacking.
Yes! Sharetank is compatible with pay by plate and pay in app. You will still need to have a valid credit card, debit card or Z Business card registered in the Z App.
Only the account owner (administrator) of a Sharetank account can use Sharetank with pay in app and pay by plate. If you are just a member of a Sharetank (rather than the account owner) you will not be able to use that Sharetank with pay by plate or pay in app.

You can't redeem supermarket discount dockets or crew discount offers with Z App. If you'd like to redeem one of these types of discounts, you'll either need to pay at the pump, or head inside and pay at the counter.
You can choose to earn either Flybuys or Airpoints™ when fuelling up with Z App. Just make sure you add your loyalty card details when you sign up and we'll automatically apply your chosen loyalty points with each Z App Fill. No need to scan any additional cards.
You can use pay by plate to refuel motorbikes. However, the automatic plate recognition part of the App may not always be available (for example, if your motorbike doesn't have a rectangular number plate or is not positioned so that it can be read by our cameras).
You can register your Z Business card for pay by plate and pay in app.
Z Business card users are currently unable to enter odometer readings and do not require a PIN to be entered when fuelling with Z App. If your account requires either of these, you'll need to check with the person responsible for your Z Business account before registering your card.
You’ll receive a transaction summary every time you use pay by plate or pay in app, and your transactions and their associated Z Business discounts will appear on your monthly invoice.
To close your pay by plate and pay in app account, you must delete your details from within the App. Deleting the App from your phone WILL NOT deactivate your account and you will remain responsible for any charges associated with your registered vehicles.
To remove your details, head to the 'Pay by plate / pay in app' section of Z App, click the three dots in the top right corner and select the 'Delete my details' option. Once you confirm you want to delete these details, your vehicles will no longer be able to pay with Z App.
To remove a vehicle from your account, you will need to log into Z App and head to the 'Pay by plate / pay in app' section. Under the number plate you no longer want to be assigned to your account, click the 'Edit' option and click the rubbish can icon in the top right corner. Once you confirm you want to delete the plate, it will no longer be associated with your account.
Deleting Z App from your phone WILL NOT deactivate your account and you will remain responsible for any charges associated with the vehicles you have registered in your account.

Your receipt will contain all the important information that we need to investigate.
