Changes to Z’s Leadership Team

Z Energy (Z) can confirm that after over 12 years of leading Z, Mike Bennetts has announced he is stepping down from his role as CEO at the end of March next year.

As the founding CEO, Mike will leave a strong legacy marked by his courage and ambition to create a truly distinctive local New Zealand brand and culture. He has built a brand that is known and trusted by customers, employees and local communities.

Z is deeply committed to developing its people and we have had a clear succession plan in place for some time. Mike is pleased to be handing over his role to Lindis Jones, Z’s current CFO, who has been part of the Z whānau since 2010. Z’s GM Commercial, Nicola Law, will be promoted to CFO.
