We’re very aware of the emissions resulting from the fuel we sell. While we have a responsibility to continue to meet New Zealanders’ energy needs now, we believe our role is to make alternative energy choices easier for our customers too. We’re also proud to contribute to work aimed at supporting local communities and the natural environment.

Nature restoration

Z is a super proud supporter of Trees That Count, a conservation charity working with New Zealanders to plant millions of native trees across Aotearoa.

Supporting electric vehicles

We want to be at the front of the push towards a cleaner, more sustainable Aotearoa New Zealand. And to give Kiwis choices to use more renewable fuels.

Z Energy’s (Z) graduate programme gives five young Kiwi the chance to kick-start their career, hone their skills and grow their knowledge as they delve into every part of the organisation. And while the initiative requires significant investment from Z, it’s one they believe will bring big returns – not just for Z but for New Zealand’s future workforce.
